danio questions

danios school right?? can they survive with dwarf puffers?? how many can you keep in a 5 gallon with 2 dwarf puffers or a 10 gallon with 4 guppies a molly and 4 corys... or i guess they might be overstocked already but just wondering

IMO, neither tank will work for them - they need to be in a school of 6 preferrably, so that they are happy, and they've very active fish so they need a lot of room. Since your other tanks already have quite a few fish in them, I'd say avoid the danios.

hmm i might be getting a 30 gallon soon and i was thinking about moving all my fish from the 10 gallon into that and then getting some danios... what other fish would you suggest in the 30 gallon? any other fish you suggest to go in my tanks??

I've got a lone danio that chased all of the others until they were so stressed that my tetras ate them . Now the lone danio dominates the tank even though it's one half to one third the size of the other fish.

yeah, a lone danio w/o others of its kind will be very antisocial.
He needs friends....more danios to play with.
He's very lonely.

My lfs sells zebra danios 2 for $1 so we usually by 12 and put them in our 125 gallon as feeders. They definitely look cool when they all swim together.
