Hi peeps, can anybody help me here please ? I have just removed my fluval 3+ from my tank, as I didnt need it. The only thing it did seem to do was create a current down the back of the tank, which although bent all my plants, it gave the smaller fish something to do.

Now its not there my red eyes seem very sad :( They arent doing much at all. Should I put something in to create a current for them and my other smaller fish (See sig) ?

Any advice would be nice.

I'm assuming you have another filter on the tank??

A lot of fish (tetras in particular) love have a current to swim against so it is a good idea to have at least a small area of your tank with a fairly fast water flow.

my tetras love swimming in the current but they also love swimming through the bubbles from my air tube
hope you sort it out

xXx

You should definately have a filter in the tank, the tetras would certainly also appreiciate the current as the flow from the filter helps oxygenate the water etc.
