croaking gouramis..

i saw some young ones at a lfs... $2 each.. ive seen pics of julies and i think theyre cool... anyone know if a 10g tank is sufficient for a pair? anyone know anything else about them?

I think a 10g would be sufficient. Do you plan on putting anything else in there with them?

I haven't kept them but I was researching them today in the hope of getting some and all I found was that they are shy, like lots of plants and hiding places, and shouldn't be kept with anyhting large or boisterous.

yea i found basically the same info..

i thought about trying a trio of guppies with them..

but im gonna buy the croakers first... i just got like 6 plants.. and i have lots of fake ones also ...

hopefully this weekend ill have the tank ready !!! wooo !!!

theyre pretty small.. havent got them yet, but might go later today..

its gonna be pretty hard to sex them at this age.. i guess ill just get 2 and hope i get lucky when they grow up haha..

is that a male or female... i read on the net that the brighter ones are the males..

i tried to get some that had darker black lines... and 2 with lighter bodies..

no clue if i sexed any of them right but i will just wait and see..

theyre only like 1 inch long.. but theyre quick little buggers
