I've never had crinum calamistratum in my tanks, but I am thinking about trying it. If I want to use it to grow and fill in the back corner of my tank, will one bulb be enough, as I can't actually tell how wide one plant will grow? Or will I need to try and propagate the bulbs that side shoot from the main bulb (which sounds difficult if it's a plant you don't really want to move once it's established it roots), or is it best to plant a few of these? Thanks for any help?

Its fussy, not easy. Must have much light, deep bed. Now,I dont keep a deep bed,and the lighting is my low level per gallon. Yet,other plants thrive so I can tell you that my Crinum has been slow on the same care those other plants have done well on.
I would guess it's more needy than the common Crinum that isnt common anymore..a hard find. Still, its made it to over two years and alive. Best ones I've seen on the net were on Co2.
