the LFS worker told me that they were peppered cories. I previosly never had peppered corys and the lady gave me this. So anymore info would be appreciated! Thanks

That's not the fish that is usually called a Peppered Cory. That is usually what a C. paleatus is called. Here's a link:

This is the trouble with using common names instead of their latin names. Sometimes it happens that the common names vary with areas and confusion can result.
