Hi cory guy
Welcome to the forum.
It sounds like your cory eggs developed fungus on them. This isn't unusual, but can be prevented fairly easily. The white stem on fuzzy eggs is usually a sign that they are deteriorating.
This happens when the eggs are either damaged or do not get strong enough water circulation over them. If you set an airstone directly under them, it will usually keep them safe. Another thing you can try, provided the eggs are in a tank by themselves, is adding one drop of methylene blue to the water, along with the airstone.
Here's a picture so you can see what I mean:
The other possible reason for them to get fungus is if they have not been fertilized. If you have both male and female albino C. aeneus corys, this is not usually a problem and I wouldn't worry about it unless you have had several such failures.
On the brighter side, if your corys are healthy and well fed on live or frozen food, they will probably spawn again soon. If you would like to try again, we'll be happy to help you.
Why not tell us a little about your corys and your tank.
