Cory Question

Say instead of getting 6 of one type, would they be just as comfortable having 1 of each type, i.e. 1 Julii, 1 Peppered, 1 Panda, 1 Bronze, 1 Albino, 1 Pygmy <<< just e.g. corys are corys aren't they?

It'd be much better to get 6 of each or something. Because then you actually know that they will shoal.

I have 3 green cories and 2 juli cories and they all shoal together. I don't think they recognize that their different breeds sometimes. I also have 2 peppered cories and 2 Bronze cories and they shoal with each other, once again I don't think they know the difference.

As long as you can keep them in a group of 6 they'll be fine.

I know fake Julii (Tri-Striped?) won't shoal with Bronze Corys. Still looking for some chums for my little spotted friend

I'd go with 6 of each... At least then you know that they'll shoal. If you start trying to mix all those different types I think they'd get too uncomfortable.
