I have 2 corys, which hide like 60% of the day under some nice bogwood i got. Then I have 6 red eyed tetras, to which one of them hides for about 60% of the day in some dense plants. Why? It somethimes joins the group to swim............ so i dont know whats up. any suggestions? :/

hi snick nice setup great website I have red eyed tetras too but in a more dence jungle
my tetras I seem to only see when I feed the fish ... they like to stay near a plant and kind of camoflage themselfs ...my panda cories basically do the same but when my lites go out and the moonlights come on
tetras and pandas are out in the open...dont know if this is what they do naturally but they have been doing it like this for me over a year.....cant figure out your diffuser maybe you can explain it have a great day

Ok, i read somewhere that tetras (not shure about the corys) are low light fish, so that might explain some things... about the CO2 thingy. I must update my site as i no longer use that diffuser. I now use a more effective (I hope) air stone... anyways if you want to know how to make a CO2 factory for less than 10 USD, go to CO2- The Yeast Method or go to my website and visit the links section! :good:
