Fish Herder
One of my cories died the other day - no idea why, no signs.
Yesterday, another cory seemed to be hanging round at the surface a lot, and sitting on leaves near the surface. I popped him into a breeding net but he seemed OK, notbothering with the surface. I let him back into the main tank tonight and now there are 3 of them at it! Swimming almost upside down at the surface for a while before diving back down to the bottom.
I've not had them long enough to know if this is normal behaviour or not....
The tank is fully cycled, and has been for at least 4 months. The cories have been in there for about 2 months.
Water stats are spot on - 0 ammo and nitrite. I water change every week without fail. My temp is a comstant 80 degrees, though about a week ago, my heater broke and it dropped to about 74 before I got a new heater in there.
Nothing new in tank. I quarantine all my fish. no new decorations. All toher fish are acting normal. The cories have no sign of white spot or any other illness - all look perfectly healthy.
Any ideas?
Should I catch them and quarantine them? What meds should I use as a precaution?

My husband was convinced on of them was dead and fished him out but he is still alive. Popped him into a bowl to look at him and he seems to have someting a bit white and fluffy near his tail. HELP! Please tell me this isn't columnaris
