this way more overgrown, more than I really like... they limit the free swimming space... I'm hoping the "dollar reunion" will trim a lot of them up... I've been holding off, until next week, when I begin to install my new water proof LED fixtures over the 4 bigger tanks... the vines are going to have to get a major trim back, in order for me to install them... so I would expect by the end of next week, there will still be a lot of roots, but likely at least half will be gone...
the new lighting is in waterproof seal tight fixtures suitable for power washing, like would be installed in car washes... I've gotten sick of replacing the aquarium lights, every year and a half... I had similar at work, in a wash down area, that were still going strong 10 years after install...
all 5 visible in this dark picture, taken with no main tank light... hopefully the next picture of this tank, will be with the new main light, and a little more free swimming space for the fish... hopefully they continue to leave the anubias alone...
