Conks

Do conk shells have calcium? I want to put this conk I've had for ages in with my apple snail. I wondered if the conk will add calcium to the water.

Conks are shells and nearly all shelled-snails utilize calcium as their base for shell creation. It will dissolve calcium into the tank though I don't know how much. Usually crushed coral or liquid calcium supplements help more IMO.

yeah you get lots of Conch on this island, you should try conch fritters some time!
