hi all,

my 2 clown loach have big white marks on their heads, not sure if it has been done fighting or if they hive tried getting into a small gap,

1 off them seems really ill, not moving much.....on its side and breathing rapidly..........since i put melafix in it has started moving about a bit more, hes also looing very greyish all over,

the other problem is that since putting the melafix in they both have white spot,

am i able to treat for both things here or in what order or how do i do it????

many thanks,

lee

What do the white marks look like? are they fluffy? slimey looking? how large are they?

Treat the tank for whitespot first as the parasite will affect and kill your other fish. Remember that clown loaches are scaleless fish so may need a half dose of whitespot treatment depending on which one you get read the instructions carefully!!!

Would be helpful of you could post up pictures of the white wound and your water statistics and the size of your tank, also list any other fish in the tank as they may have caused the damage.
