Cloudy Water Again?!

Got everything sorted after my bloom ages ago, and yesterday I put 2 new artificial plants in there. The cloudiness I've got isn't bloom cloudiness, I think it may be from the EasyBalance I put in which has stuff to reduce Nitrates + Nitrites. It's like a milky, thick liquid so I knew the water would cloud, but it's the morning now and it's still there...

why would you reduce nitrites? it would starve the nitrite bacteria killing it off making a harmful environment for your fish. Also have you tried a water change?

Apologies, just Nitrates. and yes I did 20% when I put them in.

I've never used that product simply because waterchanges are cheaper and more effective. IMO it's just another miracle in a bottle gimmick product designed to seperate the fishkeeper from their cash.

Either way, why is my water cloudy? Any ideas?

I haven't done all the sides yet but I will! Only thing is that my fish aren't 'hiding' like I thought they would... The plants are in the corner,they can get behind them but they ain't. Maybe worth giving them a little more room?

What size tank?
How many, and what kind of fish do you have?

Also, how long have you had your tank/fish?

They might have gotten used to you being around and are not scared anymore.

With my fish, they are so used to me that if I put my hand in the tank to clean it or move something around, they come up to my arm and nip at it.

Right when I got them, every time I walked into the room they would get scared and hide immediately.
