cichlid tank

ok once i get the 120 gallon tank cycled it is going to be a cichlid tank gf said they will have loads of room to grow she said i can put a tank divider in there and make it a 80/40 or a 100/20 or a 110/10 since i gave the two 10 gallons to my 2 nephews for birthday presents who are now 7 and 12 i believe the younger they learn about fish the better off they will be the will apreciate aninmal life more problem is how many plants will i need for all my tanks so far i have the folowing going 15,20,20,25,33,55,70

Wow! You have a lot of "living water" in your home The newbie forum is mostly for just introducing yourself - many of the busy and superhelpful folks don't look in here so you may want to pm a mod and get this thread moved to "beginner questions" or "how does your garden grow" forum. To answer you question, there are some great plant retail sites here that have starter sets of plants based on tank size and they may be able to help you with questions on how much and light requirements for the plants you are interested in.
