Check Your Temps

Hi guys,

after just installing my canister and external heater and setting the temp my digital thermometer was reading 3 degrees C higher than the external selection.

just purchased a £2 glass thermometer and checked the tank, it reads the same as the heater so my digital is miles off!

impressed with the hydor heater for its accuracy using the temp dial.

Check your temps folks and don't rely too much on technology.

i find that my hydor to be off the mark on the dial , if i set it to 25 the glass thermometer and the stick on one reads about 27/28, iv had to turn the heater to about 23 to get it to about 25/26

guess i got one of the good ones just need to get used to it clicking on and off.
