Cheap And Easy Soulution To Homemade Drift Wood Stand

its very simple actually.very cheap also.

Materials:
1)solid vinyl siding
2)2 small stainless steel screws
3)something to cut siding(i used utillity scissors)
4)screwdriver
5)knife with sharp tip


Steps:
1)cut the siding in a small square.
2)wash square very very well (front and back)
3)poke 2 holes in the siding a inch apart using tip of knife(or however big the base of wood is)
4)wash screws very very well
5)screw screws in holes with fingers
6)put siding with screws against the base of your wood and screw them in until they are touching wood.

now all you have to do is put the driftwood in your tank and push to the bottom of your tank and then cover the vinyl sidingon each side.

well there it is.a cheap and easy way rather than using slate

Thank you that is a very cool way to do that I think alot of the reson I don't have wood in my tank is for that very reason it won't stay planted on the bottm Thanks for the idea

i thought drift and bogwood just sink naturally after a couple of days

It takes some time of soaking for drift and bogwood to sink on it's own but it will eventually (99% of the time)
