I dunno, but they look cool, I might try and look "em up. The second 1 is so sparkly it makes me think of a sparkling gourami, also known as croaking gourami, but I don't think that's what it is. The 1st 1 makes me think "blenny", but not everything that pops in my head makes sense after I think about it.

The first is a swamp darter I'm almost completely sure, I've got one that looks exactly like it. It's a darter of some species certainly, if not a swamp darter. The second looks like a type of sunfish?

They came from a friend's pond (very large pond). He lives near the golf coarse, and a few years back, their lake flooded into his yard and eversince, he's had some good amount of mystery fish.
