just googling on the net come across this site and got to the shrimp section browsing through and saw this...

Red Lobsters look exactly like real lobsters – cooked lobsters – because most are actually quite red. They make very pretty and interesting tank residents (by themselves). Snap their large pincers off if you plan to keep them with your fish.

I know nothing about lobsters, but that certainly does sound cruel! It's good that they're warning that lobsters aren't good for a community tank, but... ugh.

i wouldnt personally want to have a red lobster

but snapping pincers off so you can mix them with your fish is sick

I've used that site for quiet a few things, and I contacted the people after reading that, it was apparently meant as a joke and they said they'd be revising the page as soon as they can.

the one in the picture has no pinchers and under the picture it says "No big pincers on this guy at this time."

good point ronanphilip, but hopfully they will change it thanks to PRW1988 contacting them about it
