I made a previous topic about my worries for my pond which is now heavily frozen over about 85% of the surface.
I have been losing water very quickly and I am worried.
Is it possible for the ice on the surface to crack my solid plastic pond liner?
Please reply!
Cheers

It is possible.pvc is generally very ridged and cracks easily in the cold,Altho if the liner is completely underground and the soils around it were compacted properly and the ice only covers 85% of the surface I'd tend to doubt it.I'd check other things if you have any, like piping or filter boxes first.
