Can I put this fish in with......

I have a JD- 2" and a 1" con with a spotted raphael in a 30g. I was wondering if I could safely put my betta with them? My hubby thought we should give them some feeder fish about a week ago and both of them are still in there, healthy and happy! So, are my cichlids little enough that a betta would do ok for now?

Should make a nice snack for your JD and Con, when they get a bit bigger.

Not I you want to keep it alive.

As Dolphin said....should make a nice snack to munch on...as for right now they would enjoy the bettas fins as an appetizer!!!!!!!

Please do not place the betta in with them!!!

I didn't. I put him in my community tank of tame fish. It was just a momentary laspe of reason that made me wonder................
