I've inherited a fish from a friend, but have no idea what it is. He seems to think it's a striped dora, which it may well be but when I try to find anything out about it (yahoo, google ect) this picture is the only thing i can find & that's labeled zebra otto which I'm pretty sure it's not.

I know it's not a great picture, i havn't managed to get a pic of the one i've inherited as i have only seen him once since he went into the tank

Any info would be welcome, i don't know if he needs friends or not, what size he will get to or his ideal diet, conditions ect. -_-

That's a striped raphael catfish. They can get to 8.5 inches long, and they aren't aggressive but they will eat anything that can fit into their mouths. I've heard that they like to be in schools of at least four, but all the care pages I'm looking up right now say they're fine by themselves. I've got four spotted raphaels, I love em. :D

Now all I have to do is sus out what I'm going to do with him. He's in a 15 gal at the mo..I am thinking of putting him into my 75 gal but I will have clown loaches in there & the reason I was given him was because he was being harssed by my friends clown loaches
