Can African Dwarf Frogs Pass Disease To My Betta?

I separated my frog from my betta a couple days ago because i saw a white spot on it and i thought it might be ill. its been a few days now and it hasnt gotten any worse so im thinking about putting him back with my betta. i hear dwarf frogs are prone to illness. can their illness quickly spread to my betta?

I've kept ADF's for a while in my community tank.

I know they are sensitive to water conditions but also very sensitive to any trace amounts of chlorine so i'd advise to ensure you use 1.5x water conditioner when performing water changes

I have a dwarf frog in with my mollies and my otos and they have never had a problem. Their skin sheds and you might be seeing it just before it came off. Their skin color changes easily also. Do you have any pictures?
