Bye Bye Angels

Hello,
Today i had to take two of my favourite angel fish back to the lfs.
The reason, they started getting extremely territorial and were nipping each other and other fish.
Now im left with 3 angels.
So instead i have bought some Tiger Barbs

I will post some pictures for you soon .

Hmmz, its strange you say that, they havent even attempted to go for any fish. Infact they are scared of my big angels
I will monitor, and see how it goes.

P.S. Got a new camera from the Mrs today il post some pics once its charged!!

monitor them by all means but expect some torn up fish, you have two types of aggressive fish there mate, they will be scared they are new to your tank but once settled they will gang up and all hell will let loose, sorry to tell you this but weve all made that mistake at some point.

If i were to keep the tiger barbs, and change my angels, what would be suitable?

Barbs are best kept with barbs. maybe the odd plec or 2 in the tank. so i would get rid of your barbs for maybe tetras. or rasboras etc..

If you keep around 8 Tiger Barbs they should keep the agression mostly amomgst themselves. Although i'd still stay away from any extravegant finned fish. Such as male Guppies, Angels, Bettas and Gouramis.

Barbs or angels??? i would choose angels to be honest but thats my personal option, but barbs all together yes

Heh, bad time to tell you i have blue gourami's aswell yea?

- As you can tell, im still learning!

i must say you are drawn to the aggressive one arnt you?
G's as well, oh dear, some LFS staff will unfortunatly say anything to get a sale he was right about the group of 6 but didnt take into consideration of your other fish, did you tell him that you also had Gs

Im annoyed now lol. I really like these tiger barbs

sorry about your petrol, you should see mine it goes on LFS more than anything, just tell him what fish you got then see what he says, if you dont like what you see then dont feel obliged to buy just because your there
