I have a bully tetra! I have 2 males and 1 female (believe since it's hard to tell on red eyes!) One male is larger and harasses the female and male; he also goes after my phantom tetras. During feeding I have to really spread the food out or he will guard it from the other fish. I only have a 10 gallon tank right now so I don't know if I could really increase the school size at the moment. I have a Betta and a Rhino Pleco in the tank also. Any sugestions on how to calm him down for the moment?

maybe add a few more if you have space so the bullying can be spread out among more than the usual two.

Both are shoaling fish that should be kept in groups of 5-6 at the least. If I were you, I would change the red eyes (these can become up to 7 cm in size!, sorry not familiar with the inch system  ) for more phantom tetras (smaller in size than red eyes) to create one nice school.

Hopefully I am getting a free 35 gallon tank so I will be able to increase the shoal sizes of both groups. but, this my not be for a week or two. He seems to not be bothering them as much but still gets a little fisty. But thanks for the replies!
