I've been trying to grow some buce in emersed setups but no luck
I have few emersed setups that I grow few types of anubias and some ferns
Few months ago I got some buce for an aquascape and I planted what's left of it in one of those setups
After few weeks all the leaves fell and some of them started melting so I moved them to a different setup
But it was the same result
So I threw them in a random no maintenance tank that I grow stem plants that I totally didn't forget about 🙃
Yesterday I found a teeny tiny buce in that tank
It was a new bud from one of those old rhizomes about 1cm
The ones I used for the aquascape are doing fine (not a lot of growth though)
I wanna know what's the issue with the emersed ones
Do they need different parameters than anubias ?

Hey,

it's easiest if you place them just below the water surface and let them grow out naturally.
Once they produce a few emersed leaves by themselves, you can raise the rhizom bit by bit.
