Brown Algea

Ok well i got a 14g biocube which i just started cycling about a week ago. The last 2 days ive seen alot of brown algea start growing on rock and sand just wondering if this is normal or if i should do something about it, I know certain snails would help get rid of it but not sure i should put them in the tank since im still cycling it. Thanks for the help. heres a pic of what its looking like.

its very normal, almost everyone gets it at the beginning of the tank. Finish your cycle before you add your CUC though.

Hi Totally normal , look up diatoms youll get all you need to know from that. Or read other diarys from start in the diary section in Chit chat
