females usually have a fuller belly (just like in all fish I guess) and the females seem to be a tad bit larger. you could just have a full grown adult and 2 that are almost adults or you could have a female and 2 males, if you want to breed them you usually want a 1 to 2 , f to m ratio anyways. I just recently purchased some and they are still juveniles so hopefully I have 1 of each. I would like them to spawn. :flex:

Hi smyth19 :)

How big are your corys? The older they are, the more size matters when it comes to telling them apart.

When I buy corys that are young, I like to get a group of 4 - 6 of them. That way the odds of getting both are in my favor. But don't worry if it turns out that you have 2 females and only one male. It will still work.

All that being said, if one of your corys is significantly larger than the other two, and they are from the same batch, it will probably turn out that you have a female and 2 males.

Good luck with them, and be sure to let me know when you breed them. :D

Thats alot guys for your advice!!
Inchworn i gotta single you out, as you have been brillant with your advice!

I only got three corys (bronze) yes/day, as they were £2.95 sterling which i thought was pretty dear, also to add to it im a student and thats like all my money.lol

Trying to spot the difference between the three is very hard, just two are bigger than the other one basically!!
