I think it suggests you can put a Betta with absolutely any tropical fish you want as long as its not a pond fish or Goldfish.

OK with guppies. Yes. I agree totally that until he actually sees the Guppy you're OK but after the water's gonna be turning red.

rams with your malawis? corys in the Tanganyika tank?
Note that only part of the problem is actual misinformation (malawis with corys); a lot is inherent in the format- if you present such a vast amount of information as a small chart, you are going to have to gve way to dangerous simplification, lumping all tetras together in one group, as if neons were going to be the same as bucktoothed tetras, or all barbs together, or all New World cichlid. And there is no way of distinguishing between different ways of being incompatible- are we talking water stats, or potential predation, or aggression or dietary needs?
It just goes to show that no charts can substitute for a reasoned discussion of likely problems/advantages- such as you get on a fish forum

sorry, just thought wit hit being quite a well respected site that the info would of been all correct didnt even bother reading it.
Jus goes to show that even onlinee LFS ok so not so local.......... sumtimes get it wrong!
