i have 8 big turtles and the food is getting out hand.the man at the pet store told me to breed mollys are there any thing better and cheaper to breed(make more babies)

Mollies are a better breed then fancy guppies. I suggest feeder guppies cause it's like 15/for a 1.50 here and they grow to a nice size and are successful at being cheap and constantly breeding. Besides that you won't feel bad once they get eaten at least I never felt bad...

I started breeding guppies for the same reason. For my turtles. But after putting six in their tank (prior to breeding) they only ate three and the other three are their friends now.

I currently have around 24 fry. They sure are cute. But I suppose they'll become pets now since the turtles aren't too interested.
