hey

i got a pair of blue rams who are with eachother alot. and swim with eachother alot,
i wanna know what do u need for them to breed and will they protect their fryif other fish try to get to them.

Hi Dwarf..
First make sure that they are really a pair, meaning boy/girl.Second,you have to provide the right conditions, temp.feeding them well ,etc.
Also,if you want the babies to survive, isolate the parents and their offsprings. The rams are excellent parents--they are cichlids after all---But,you can help'em out by keeping them by themselves.Remember the parents will defend their young but,100 babies swimming around with other fish ready to eat them,it's virtually imposible for the parents to rescue them.

okay im preety sure ive got a pair, ;)

what do they lay there eggs in?? and what temp must the water be at

Check out the link Doggfather posted - there's a TON of good info in there
