i have shrimp in a bowl and i want a live plant for them
any suggestions?
i need something fairly common with larger leaves as there is no filtration and low lighting.
has anyone tried this before?

anyone???????
well????????
what about aponogeton (i think thats what its called)???????
how about java or umbrella ferns?????????

java fern/,java moss or egeria densa might be the only ones that might work, java fern has the biggest leaves but u need to attach it to something

I have a half gallon going now.

I used Hornwort (or that other plant that looks like it)-
Some kind of grass plant.
And some kind of vine,lol.
With something like that you could even use Duckweed freely!

Java Moss would look beautiful if trained to grow as a carpet and over a ledge. ( a flat stone to make a little cave in the sand/gravel)

Would give your shrimp a hiding place.

You could even grow a small bog plant to come out part of the top. :)
No wait- the shrimp might crawl out of it then. lol.
