boiling wood ???

BOILING WOOD ?!?!?! Would definately be a great addition to my tank (hiding egg layers exct.) so what i can just go in my back yard and grad a small log, boil it and put it in my tank ???

Jeez this is like the fourth topic this week specifically about boiling wood. Please look around a bit before posting something like this, your question may already have been answered. I suggest you buy wood from the aquarium store, then you don't even really have to boil it, just soak it for several days. If you do decide on wood from your backyard, make sure it's DEAD or you'll have big problems, and definitely boil it.
