Blue Severums

I saw some of these at the LFS and theyre awesome! Theyre really small though, and was wondering if they could grow to be the size of the fish in this pic. Those fish are beautiful. I definitely want to get some for the 55 gal. How many should I keep in a school?

what size are those fish in the pic?well no matter coz generally sevs grow to about 8"s give or take.

Those happen to be some of my Heros appendiculatum "turquoise severum"

They do not grow as large as the green or gold severum and are relatively peaceful.

The answer to you question about growing to the size of the ones in the pic is...YES!!!

These are some of the fry from my adults that I kept and grew out!!

There are 13 in the pic you see. I would go with 6 as a maximum. I also have a trio of adult Dempsey's and an 8" Syno. eupturus in the tank as well

they don't grow as big as the others???well you'd know better but man i swear nutley pet has 3 in a show tank and they're every bit of 8"s and thick as heck.

That's about maximum. I have had green and golds at around 10" before!!

Actually 9 of the 13 in the pic are around 7-8".
