Not sure if this guy is sick, or just a juvenile, but I will have to keep an eye on him as he is sitting right outside our front door!

he's a scrawny looking fellow! 'fraid i dont know anything about birds, so cant help you out, but you certainly have a wealth of wildlife in your garden with this and the hummingbirds you showed us the other day!

Awww He's a slightly scruffy fledgeling, no doubt the parents are not far away so leaving him to it is the best thing you can do

Well, I just checked on the little guy and he didnt make it. He must have been sick too.

I agree he's a youngster, but he looks kinda wet or sumthin' too.....
coulda bin sick. makes me want to look for the pic of me with several young scrub jays perched all over me when I was doing wildlife care.

what a shame , he looks fairly young and deff wasnt ready to fledge, he was probly stressed which was probly the cause of his death and was probly very hungry .poor guy
