ok so my bp is female and she is really scared. i thought they were supposed to not be scared of people but she runs and hides anytime i come into the room. if i get a male will that stop?

also what are the chances of them successfuly having kids?

They might end up fighting if you get another one, as they get older they get pretty darn agressive.
As for it swimming away all the time, thats blood parrts for you, but dont worry it will grow out of it and soon you will be sick of seeing it all the time

What i did was closed off its hiding spot, this left it to been seen all the time and after about a week or so it was very happy to be hanging around the tank looking around, it now beats up my oscar and owns the tank.
