what type of fish are BPs?

i think they're usually a mix of a severum and a red devil. and i've heard that a jelly bean is a mix of bp and a convict. somebody please correct me if i'm wrong

There really isn't any certainty as to what fish were combined to create this thing, I've heard a number of different things. Jelly-beans are actually the same fish died through a cruel process.

they are hybrids, like a flowerhorn

jellybeans are mixed with 50% convict blood so they have stripes like a convict but they look like a blood parrot.

well nobody will ever know for sure the parentage of this group of fish, they ( the people that create these fish) have kept this a secret as much as they have the parantage of the flowerhorn a secret. people will always be guess what it is but however you slice your bread it is always going to be a hybird.
