Bloated Barb Now Very Thin

after treating with jungle labs parasite clear for internal parasites and raising the temp to 86F, my female rosy barb's belly has finally shrunk. she's very thin now and her belly looks like it's been permanently stretched.

is this in fact permanent? i added some melafix to help heal a slit on her right side. any ideas as to how she shrank?

The slit anything hanging out of it.
How long have you been using the parasite med.
Is the fish still eating.
Sometimes the med dosn't save the fish that are infested with them as the damage has been done to the internal organs.
The meds usually to treat the whole tank to save the rest.
If the fish is extremely thin and looks like its suffering you might be better of putting it out of its misery.
