Black Ghost Knife feed

Hi I just got my first ghost last sunday and I never see it eat i leave the lights off all the time.I put food in and it just stands there i feed my ghost little guipys and blood worms.But I never see the thing eat it worrys me that it will die.If u could help that would be awesome.

Ghosts will prefer a shady, darker tank. Maybe he/she feels uncomfortable during feeding hours when the lights are on. Try putting some food in just before lights out. And provide plenty of shelter.

welcome to TFF. First, no pic means not in the right place second, keep up with the feeding regiment at night...it should eat. Depending on size, you might want to try some krill. I broke it into thirds when ours was small, but now that it is 8 inches or so, it eats whole peeled shrimp as well as bloodworms and even flake food. HTH.

I have the light turned off night and day.But every one says there bkg goes up to the top and feds i dont even see mine eating ever.

Are the blood worms you feed live or frozen.

If frozen, try live. This should encourage him more.
