Hi just a quick question...

I have a birthing tank in which a female swordtail is kept (heavily pregnant)

Just wandered... could a small group of neon tetras go in there, would they be big enough to eat her fry?

Thanks in advance!

yes they will eat the fry, seperate the mom from the fry as well or she will eat them. cheers.

I persoanlly would not put anything in there, the mother may eat the fry as she will be very hungry after giving birth.

oh ok then thanks guys.

I'm just wanting a bit of a re-shuffle as i've slightly overstocked my big community tank.

I've got 1 120L tank (community) and two smaller 30 litre tanks. One has guppies in there (breeding), the other a pregnant swordtail.

Maybe i could move something in with the guppys because i dont leave them in there when in labour
