I'm stuck with 3 white clouds and 6 rosy reds in my tank,Long story short i can re home the rosy reds, but i was wondering if i could do a Asian biotope with the white clouds?

Sounds like a good idea to me. White clouds are sub tropical fish so will do well with fish such as danios and various loaches. You will need at least a 3ft tank if you plan on keeping danios though.

I forgot to mention it was a 55 gallon tank. Can anyone make a stock list?

Well first I'd up the minnow shoal size. Perhaps something like this?
-10 minnows
-10 danios
-6 hillstream loaches
-1 paradise fish
Not 100% sure about the paradise fish as they can be aggressive but they would be a great centrepiece fish for a sub tropical Asian tank.

IMO Hillstream Loaches and Paradise fish aren't the best mix. The reason being that Hillstreams like plenty of current whereas the Paradise fish like much slower current. It's one or the other IMO.

What about a school of Golden Barbs instead of the Hillstreams?

Well i actually have the white clouds so, id prefer that be the only schooling fish really.

No problem ;)

Lots of minnows!! Sod everything else!! Is exactly what I did with my 125L! Had allsorts in there inc baby stingrays!! The only thing that ever looked *good* was the shoal of 25 minnows! They were all standard minnows though... I had a Tetratec EX700 on the tank with no problems and it looked pretty empty... I had that gorgeous geosystem>> (old Hagen/fuval) gravel that is basically tiny bits of slate.. into a fine gravel... that is no longer made.... :( and lots of Mopani driftwood and a few rocks.

I would likely up it to 30 minnows, 15 normal and 15 gold... same dark slate gravel of some kind and wood roots.... an extra powerhead or two for flow... maybe one or two split bunches of vallis...

(in my sized tank)

Epic!
