Bichir Tankmates

Hey,
Guys i am hopig to get a bichir but before i buy it i need to know suitable tank mates. Any ideas my tank is 32 gallon. Just finished cycling i as thinking perhaps some bala sharks a sailfin pleco ro something to eat algae ( i'd transfer from another tank i have got) Any other ideas im open to suggetions. Thanks in advance.

i think birchir have a 55 gallon minimum tank size.

bala sharks are meant to be kept in groups so need 180 gallons and a sailfin plec grows to well over a foot so needs a huge tank too.


you mite have to rethink your stocking.
