is there any special things they need like indian almond leaves or anythink like that. and would a pair be ok in a 30g tank with female betta splendeds.

they really need a tank of 100cm and are happy in 20gallons - longer tank rather than deep they love soft water and ph under 7
a pair can go in 10 gallons

they would be better without the splendens if you wish to breed them due to the fry getting eaten when male expells them

they are really expensive aswell

my tanks 36",12" by 16 i think. but my waters is really hard and ph is about 7.5 is there any other types that would work better?
