Bad Oscar

hey all,
i woke up this morning looked in my tank and one of my oscars ( ithink thats how you spell it) eyes has kind of puffed out, like gone like a big lump.

can anyone offer help and or advice

Is the eye cloudy? It would help if we knew the readings for Ammonia, Nitrites,and Nitrates. What size tank is he in?Oscars are very messy fish, and require lots of water changes to keep Nitrates low...

my test kit only show, nitrite, nitrate, ph it dosent show ammonia.
the oscar was in my brothers tank and we havw had tro put him in my tank cus the other oscar was attacking him.
anyway the results of the tests were as follows:
nitrite 0 ppm
nitrate 160 ppm
ph 7.0

that nitrate is a bit high i will have to let him know
anyway it is a 240 litre tank

the oscar does look very weak just hiding up the corner of the tank and isnt budging

Oh my! Nitrates are terribly high...some water changes are in order. I'd do 30% water change every day, or at least every second day, until they are around 20-40ppm....
