Babies In Tank

I have babies in my tank and was wondering if i can do water change and vaccum. I am not sure how many babies are there, i have only seen a couple but they are too hard to catch.
Also, how long should I have the light on for a planted tank.

Wouldnt vaccum the tank i noticed some of my babies were hiding in the pebbles you will probably vaccum them up the best thing to do is to transport them to another tank or seperate them from any harm

12 hours a day is how long i leave my light on for

Thank you for your response, Iguess i'll leave them as I find it hard to catch. I guess a partial water change would help.

i have baby platys in my tank, welll when they were very tiny i used a small peace of netting on the end of the vacum to stop the babys being sucked up, however u dont pick up most of the debry on the gravel that way so you might need to get a hang help gravel vacum (it uts it into a bag and u can see if anythings got stuck in the bag) one that u attatch to your air pump i have seen for £5 battery powerd once are about £15
