B&q Water Filter

Hi,

I have a B&Q (made by Opella) unit plumbed in under my kitchen sink. I have no idea what nasties it removes from the water. I just wondered if anyone used filtered water (not RO) for their tanks? I have used it for my initial fill of water (with Tetra Aquasafe added) for my 180l tank.

The "filter" is a simple carbon block filter it will remove most chems from the water.
I often use RO for top off on my planted tank
