I took this picture on my iphone 6 of my 45 gallon super tall tank. It's heavily planted, the fish thrive in there. It was the first dirted tank I did and it was the best result of a tank ever. I planted about 4 "nodes" of cryptocornes and now they have carpeted on their own. I don't do ferts or co2 or ANYTHING. Folks, I'm not lying when I tell you I don't dose ferts at all. It's been 2 months, still no ferts. The jungle val which I have been told multiple times will not grow has grown to be almost 5 feet. I can pull it out of the tank and it touches the floor. I constantly have to trim it.
The flame moss is crazy. I have to trim it so often (it's glued on the wood) and when I do trim it I usually get a pound or TWO OF FREAKING MOSS TRIMMINGS. I throw that in buckets for my guppies to breed on and now for my danios to spawn into. (hopefully)
Anyway, this is a shot of a corycat I took. I wish I had a better camera. Sorry it's not in landscape mode.
