Assassin Snails

Hi all. I've just bought two Assassins and wondered if they are going to get enough food from the few pest snails in the tank. Do they need anything more? Advice welcomed.

They will find more than enough food. They'll eat tiny bits of left over food. I've never fed mine anything extra and I have 6 or 7 of them

They obviously appreciate meaty high protein food, so will like finding bits of bloodworm etc. I don't feed mine specially and don't have pest snails anymore, so they must be eating something!

That stands to reason does't it. I think I'm losing the plot with all the trauma of this amazing hobby.

I have two assassin snails in my tank, and they eat on average a snail each every three or four days. The invading snails obviously reproduce faster than the assassins can eat them but that's fine with me, I spend 1.50 for each of them so I'd like them to live for a while, even if they dont exactly take care of the whole problem.. they just keep it under control
