There are some white round things in my tank, about 1mm stuck to the glass and very difficult to move. You would think the fish would nibble at them but they are not interested. There are more each day.... what are they and what shall I do about them?

hmm any chance of a picture.... I'm lost right now but i'll figure it out if you can give me some more info and a pic. what size in comparison to something..... and are the flat and circiular or spherical... this should help

Theyre likely to be some sort of egg. Shrimp, fish or snail depending on what you have in there.

there a worm, cant remember its name and there caused by overfeeding, there is loads of topics on the forum bout it.Will link you if i can find any :good:

Ostarcods- These are small bean shaped organisms. They are entirely harmless. They may be brought in with live foods, plants, or even through water supply. They live in an opaque shell that may be whitish yellow to brown or sometimes green in color. They are 1-3 mm long. The most obvious protrusions from the shell are two antennae and a pair of slender legs, which are withdrawn rapidly if danger threatens. They feed mainly on decaying matter. They provide a someone useful function. Some fish will eat them, and unless they become an unsightly problem, there is not a need to remove them!
thats the best info i could find given the info you provided, are they just on the glass free swiming on plants and stone too???

how long has the tank been set up and whats in it?

Thankyou very much everyone esp. BigIan, that is exactly what they are like with a hemispherical shell and very difficult to scrape off the glass where they mainly are. I wish I didn't have them, the inside of the aquarium is hard enough as it is to clean. I cant believe how tenacious the little green spots are.
