Aqua One Spray Bar

Hi all. I have mentioned this before but didn't have pictures to back it up. As the search function isn't working I cant find the old topic so starting this one. I think that the spray bar on my Aqua one 850 is too short. It isn't long enough to spray over the whole of the filter which seems daft to me. I swap it round when doing my cleaning just to make it more even. Looking at the pictures below am I right in thinking its too short? Is it meant to be like ths or have I been giving the wrong one by the LFS?

agreed - I have one of these filters in the shed and I'm pretty sure that the bar runs the whole length...

Thanks. If this is the case I will be taking it back or at least showing the photos to the LFS to check.. I am going to phone up now and ask the measurements.

LFS says it is meant to be like that... My next question is why??

If you have problems, and they won't do anything about it, I have an AquaOne filter a CF1000 i think and it looks like the outbound spraybar on mine is the same as that one. I got with it an extension bar about 4 inches long - If you could acquire one of those from somewhere, it would do the job for you I'm sure!

Yeah good idea. I thikn it would be better if it was longer. And then drill holes in the front part so that the first filter still gets water..
