I have an Aqua One 850 with two filter compartments. When setting up the system the Spray bar wasn't long enough to cover both filters so that the second half of the second filter has no spray on it. Is this right as that part of the filter is much cleaner than the rest so I have been swapping it round to even it out? Have the LFS supplied me with a spray bar that is too short?? It came as a complete sealed set up so must have been an Aqua One error

I will show photos when I am back. Any thoughts or pictures from others?

Thanks,
Mark.

you making it sound like youu are trying to attatch two filters to the same spray bar, its best to only use the the spray bar for the one filter it was made for and use another one that comes with the different filter.
thats all i could understand and i think thats even not getting the picture of it.

it is just the one spray bar, even though you'd think it would be two attached,

there is a diagram on page 3 of this manual
aqua one

I think the idea is that when the first part is too dirty, you dispose of it, move the second piece accross and then purchase a new part to fill the second spot. (this is if you purchase the pre-assembled blocks with the carbon and polyester pad)

There is only the one spray bar as you said Davo. It is set up as instructed with the O ring so that the pump is straight. I dont understand what you mean Shang Hi. The spray bar is a set length and there is no other way to do it other than the way I have set it up. It just seems odd that the spray bar isn't the full length so water only goes on half of the second filter. I have a friend that thinks his bar is the full length. Thats why I asked. I will get a photo asap..

nah the spray bar you have is correct, I work in an aquatics that have decided to take on aqua one as our main tank supplier.

i was just saying that it looks like you should have 2 spray bars that connect together to cover both areas, but that isn't the case. The water is mean to spray down onto the first pad, then soak throught the next before falling back into the tank
